What are Sudafed Decongestant tablets?

Sudafed Decongestant tablets are a treatment for blocked, stuffy noses. They can ease congestion caused by cold and flu, hay fever, sinusitis and more. These tablets are non-drowsy, perfect if you don’t want your blocked nose to slow you down. If you’re struggling with a blocked nose and need a way to clear your congestion, Sudafed Decongestants could be the perfect remedy for you.

Why do I have a blocked nose?

A blocked nose usually isn’t anything to worry about, and it can happen for lots of different reasons. When you have a blocked nose, irritation caused by an illness or an allergy causes swelling in the blood vessels of your nose, narrowing your nasal passages so they become blocked with mucus. Some of the most common causes of congestion include:

  • Cold
  • Flu
  • Hay fever
  • Allergies
  • Sinusitis
  • Catarrh

How will the pseudoephedrine in Sudafed Decongestants help to ease my congestion?

The active ingredient in Sudafed Decongestant tablets is 60mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps to reduce swelling in the blood vessels in your nose. By reducing this swelling, these tablets give you more room to breathe and helps to reduce the pressure in your nose and forehead.
