What is Bazuka Extra Strength Gel?
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel is a wart and verruca treatment that can also be used to treat corns and calluses. It’s more than double the strength of regular Bazuka Gel, helping to treat your wart or verruca and get rid of it as quickly as possible. This product contains your Bazuka Extra Strength Gel and an emery board that you can use to buff away your wart, verruca, corn, or callus throughout your treatment.
What are verrucas and warts?
Warts and verrucas are small lumps that grow on your skin when you’ve been in contact with a virus, with verrucas appearing on the soles of your feet and warts appearing everywhere else. They’re harmless, although they can be painful or itchy, but many people try to get rid of them because they don’t like how they look. They will usually disappear on their own over a long period of time, but with treatment you could be rid of them within just a few months.
How will Bazuka Extra Strength Gel treat my verruca or wart?
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel contains an active ingredient called salicylic acid, which works by softening the area of skin you’re trying to treat. This makes it easier for you to remove the verruca or wart with the emery board provided. It also helps to kill the virus that causes warts and verrucas, helping to keep them from spreading.
Can I use this product to treat corns or calluses?
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel can be used to treat corns and calluses as well as warts and verrucas. Corns and calluses are areas of hard, thick skin that can form when an area of skin is regularly exposed to pressure or friction. For example, many people get corns or calluses on the sides of their feet if their shoes don’t fit them very well.
What’s the difference between Bazuka Extra Strength Gel and Bazuka Extra Strength Treatment Gel?
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel and Bazuka Extra Strength Treatment Gel are similar products, which both use the same strength of salicylic acid to treat your warts or verrucas. The only difference is that Bazuka Extra Strength Gel can also be used to treat corns and calluses, whereas Bazuka Extra Strength Treatment Gel should only be used on warts and verrucas.
Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel is suitable for use during pregnancy or when you’re breastfeeding. However, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this or any other medications at this time.
Can I use this product if I’m using other medication?
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel is not currently known to interact with any other medications and should be safe to use with whatever else you’re taking. However, if you’re taking any other medications we would recommend speaking to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product, to be absolutely sure that this is the best treatment for you.
How to use this product
Before using this product, soak the area you wish to treat in warm water for 2 – 3 minutes. Dry the area thoroughly using your own towel (this is especially important if you have a wart and verruca, as it will keep the infection from spreading), use this towel in the affected area only. Remove the protective red cap and gently squeeze the tube to apply a thin coating of Bazuka Extra Strength Gel to the affected area only. 1 – 2 drops of gel should be enough to treat the area. Avoid applying the gel to healthy areas of skin around the treatment area, if you do get the gel on healthy skin wipe it away with a tissue and wash the area if needed. Let the gel dry for a few minutes to form a small white patch and leave it in place. Repeat the process the next evening, picking off the patch of dried gel and applying fresh gel once a day until the area has healed. Once a week, rub the affected area with the emery board provided before reapplying the gel.
Can I buy Bazuka Extra Strength Gel over the counter?

This helps our pharmacy team to be sure that this product is the best choice for you.
